How to Recover Deleted Photos on SD Card?

Finally got my deleted files back. Thanks. It really matters if you know how to protect the data from being overwritten.

A friend asked me for help since he deleted his holiday photos from his sd card. Fortunately, before he went insane, I told him there is a way to recover deleted files on sd card and he finally got all his precious photos back. So before you give up those lost files, please try to recover deleted files on SD Card by following these steps.

To avoid data overwriting, stop any action on that SD card or disk!

To avoid possible overwriting, be sure not to put any additional pictures on the same memory card before you recover them. Any action will lead to a lower success rate of data recovery. Actually there is something named "file allocation table" in all disks in your computer. If the disk FAT is corrupted or deleted, the computer can never locate the wanted data in the disk.
Therefore you cannot see your deleted files. However when you delete some files you didn't delete the real file, it is the file's entry from the file allocation table that has been deleted.
The actual contents of the file are still existing on the disk. This is just like a book without a bookmark, you cannot locate the exact page you read last time immediately. If you save some more files onto that disk, new data will cover the deleted files and your data will hardly be recoverable.

What Can a Data Recovery Tool Do?

  • Recovers lost, deleted, corrupted or formatted photos, videos and files
